From Construction Roots to Trusted Handyman Service

My name is Daniel Verenchuk, and I have been building since 1996. Over the years, I’ve gained a wide range of construction experience — from mixing mortar on job sites to supervising and managing large-scale projects. As a fully certified professional, I am ready to tackle anything from complex builds to small home repairs. What I enjoy most is seeing the satisfaction on my clients’ faces when a project is completed to their expectations.
My family’s history is deeply rooted in construction. My great-grandfather, Daniel Tkachuk, once traveled by boat to Canada, where he earned money that he used to build homes and buy land for his children in Moldova. After the communist takeover, all of that land was taken from him, and he was fortunate to escape with his life. Because my ancestors were Christians, construction became the trade that allowed them a measure of freedom and financial security. When I was a teenager, the USSR collapsed, and there was no work in Moldova, so my family moved closer to Moscow. That’s where I began my career, building fireplaces and brick stoves alongside my mother, who had learned the trade from her father.
Although I did not finish middle school because my work was needed, those years gave me invaluable hands-on experience. My brother later opened a small log home construction business, and you can see many of our projects at wooddom.com. Between my family’s legacy and my own decades of practice, I’ve built a wide foundation of skills and knowledge in both Moldova and Russia, which continues to shape the way I approach every job today. Over the years, I’ve also learned how to hire the right people for the right tasks. With this background, I am excited to bring my expertise and passion to help you with your next project.
